This photo of my dad and my brother was taken (in front of a greenscreen) at the celebration hosted by Milwaukee at the end of STAFDA’s Annual Convention and Trade Show in 2014.

I love this because it’s reminiscent of the famous and iconic photo “Lunch Atop a Skysraper” that was taken on Sept. 20, 1932, during the construction of Rockefeller Center in NYC.

I have a background in photojournalism, and want to share a beautiful multimedia piece called “The Sky Cowboys,” by Damon Winter for the New York Times that was released in 2011. This short video (less than three minutes) has stuck with me for over five years, and highlights the iron workers who worked at the top floors of One World Trade Center.

I hope you’ll take the time to watch it.
