Sick of throwing away half-used reciprocating saw blades? Well, you’re in luck, because Dewalt has a solution for you!
Introducing the new Breakaway Reciprocating Saw Blades…
Dewalt’s new Breakaway Blades include an innovative 2 blades-in-1 design, allowing the user to “break away” the used section of the blade, and reinsert the unused blade section back into the saw, allowing for maximum blade use without compromising the performance.
The Breakaway Blades will come in two lengths: 6″ and 9″
The 6″ blades break into 4″ blades, and ideal for cutting materials that are 1″ in diameter, and the 9″ blades break into 6″ blades, which are ideal for cutting materials that are 2″ in diameter.
These blades are made best for anyone cutting galvanized pipe, copper pipes, conduit, metal studs, EMT and other metals.
These blades are being made at the Dewalt plant in Shelbyville, Ky. with global materials.
Dewalt said they are planning to release these in the Spring of 2017! And since it’s already Spring, we’re hoping to see them soon. We’ll keep you updated.
