Since we started this blog, I’ve personally been waiting to write about the release of one item in particular, by either Dewalt or Milwaukee. The only issue was that up until this point, neither have been able to manufacturer my dream tool…but the time has finally come, and I’m extremely excited to announce the release of Dewalt’s 20V 3-in-1 Cordless Lawn Mower!
That’s right, it’s cordless!
People laugh when they hear that I mow my lawn with a cordless lawn mower. Some look at it and think it’s a toy, and I’ve had just about every one of my neighbors ask me what the heck I’m using when I’m outside mowing my lawn.
Why? Because it’s quiet, and it doesn’t sound like your typical lawn mower.
I love my Black & Decker mower to death. The only issue is that if my grass is long, which it typically is (yes, I’m lazy when it comes to mowing my lawn), the battery just doesn’t last.
Now, that’s no longer going to be an issue, as Dewalt’s mower will provide far more power! And again, it’s cordless! This means no gasoline or oil is needed, which means no maintenance is required!
We don’t know too much about this mower yet, but here’s what we do know:
Running off two 20V battery (yes, you can use FlexVolt batteries), this mower will deliver high-voltage cutting power, and is ideal for yards up to 1/4 acre.
The mower folds up as well, for easy storage.
And the “3-in-1” part of the name? It’s because the mower has three actions — mulching, bagging and rear discharging.
The kit will come with two 5.0AH batteries, and will retail for $379.
If you’re as excited as I am, you can preorder here now. I’d do so ASAP, as these cordless outdoor items tend to sell out quickly!
We’ll continue to add updates to this blog once we get the full specs.
